Frog’s Day Off

When I made this illustration, I had been itching to draw a frog and I thought it’d be nice to have him enjoying his day by going “fly fishing” and having a little lunch. I experimented with textures and slight photo bashing in the background to create a stark contrast between the main subject and its surroundings. I drew inspiration from cartoons and how the characters and the objects they interact with are distinct from the rest of the background.
